It is a small file and I'm not really sure how current it is.
I can check with a couple of friends who still play V2 and see if they have a more current version than I have. Found this post, so there should be a more recent PB file than the one I sent if you can find it .. Six-Vegas-2™ It really sucks that Ubisoft dropped support for V2 because now there is no way to stop cheats and it was bad enough even with PB.
Disabling your Onboard Sound Card: Go to your Start Menu and select "Control Panel." Select "Device Manager." Locate your Sound Card and double click.
Go to the "Driver" tab and select "Disable." NOTE: This step will turn off your sound if you only have an onboard sound card.
But for legacy games, you need to use a modified file next to the pbsetup.exe, which is contain all of legacy games.I don't know if they are still offering help but they know what they are talking about and may be able to solve your problem. BTW I still play Vegas2 almost daily with friends, and it is still one of the best FPS ever created.I just updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and now I can't play Battlefield 3. Ubisoft dropped PB support some time ago, so it will not update.I do have a PB file here I downloaded over a year ago that I can send you if you would like to send me a PM with your email address.
