Updating a mainboard motherboard
I have no problems with my computer at all, but would I get improved performance/stability if I upgrade my BIOS? The rest of my specs should be listed in my signature.
It is currently running BIOS version 0704, according CPU-Z.
The update utility is often part of the download package from the manufacturer. If one is not available, you can still use the USB stick to update your BIOS in an UEFI environment, if such is a feature of your motherboard.
Take the BIOS update you downloaded from the manufacturer’s website and place it on the USB stick.
